The Candelaria is a bombard with the range of a brigantine, but more wide and with two masts: the largest, placed almost in the center with a round rig and a small foremast with brigantine sail. Between the upper mast and the forecastle are placed the mortars.

The Candelaria was designed and built for the functions of a floating battery, in blockades of ports or sieges of maritime strongholds.

The reproduction of the model is faithful to the original.
