Product description : Italian Tanks & Semoventi
During World War II, tank production was concentrated on the “M” series. The M-13/40 was the Royal Army's most famous and widely used tank. Equipped with a 47mm cannon, it was distinguished by its specially designed tracks and suspensions as well as its armor made of bolted plates. On its chassis was also developed the Semovente M-40 tank destroyer. Armed with a 75mm howitzer installed in a casemate, it was feared by enemy armored vehicles. The best results were achieved through the combined use of M-13/40s accompanied by tank destroyers capable of compensating for the limited firepower of the tank. During the war, both tanks and tank destroyers received various improvements. Military model kit - to be assembled and painted - Paint and glue to be bought separately
