To keep this gun in service into the 21st century, the US Army developed this version.
It has a more powerful engine and a new turret equipped with sophisticated turret control and firing systems, including the 155mm howitzer with improved target acquisition electronics.
The Paladin can also use laser and satellite guided munitions.
