Product description : HELLE NICE FIGURE
FIGURINE HELLE NICE. Her real name is Mariette Hélène Delangle (1900-1984) she left Eure-et-Loir after the Great War to try her luck in Paris. Thanks to her generous figure and her talent as a dancer she made her place in Paname during the Roaring Twenties. It was René Carrère, photographer of Sacha Guitry who opened the doors to the world of entertainment and then the automobile world for her. Noticed by Ettore Bugatti he saw in her a beautiful representative of the brand. She thus became the fastest woman in the world on a Bugatti 35C. She participated in 75 races around the world. A female driver in a macho world she faced men on and off the track. She ended her life in solitude, misery and oblivion while she was a pioneer who competed and sometimes beat the greatest racing drivers. It is this feminine and feminist character that we reproduce here in hand-painted resin at 1/18th scale. Historical figure
