Vabanque FR/EN
Vabanque is a bluff and risk-taking game in the world of casinos for 3 to 6 players. If the original signed Faidutti/Colovini was a "mean" game, this new reissue made in Igiari is more subtle, not to say deceitful and clever.
The goal is to be the richest person at the end of the 4 rounds. At each of them, players place bets on different casino tables and then play their 3 Action cards face down in front of these tables. One is a bluff, one a multiplier to increase table bets and the last a trap to take the money instead of the opponents. Then, players can move from 0 to 4 tables clockwise.
As in poker, the cards are revealed only if at least 1 person has stopped on 1 table and the results are calculated. are to know who takes how much. Then we start again, this time placing larger sums on the tables, etc.
This game is a clever mix of bluffing, risk-taking, gambling and thinking. A very well done edition.
