1001 Islands is a tile selection and distribution game where you will try to score the most points by matching your Dream tiles and your Island tiles as best as possible. It's a game with a strong interaction between the players since we pay attention to what we choose, what we give and to whom we give it.
The mechanics are simple but quite teasing. The first player will draw as many tiles of the same type as the number of players, he will keep one for himself then give the remaining ones to the person of his choice who will do the same until all the tiles have been distributed. The last person to have been chosen therefore has no choice, he must place this tile on his island but in return becomes the first player and starts the operation again.
It is a game that can be played nicely with the youngest by 'helping' them to get the best tiles or, on the contrary, it is a game that can be played more mischievously by preventing its opponents to get the tile they need while being careful to take the right one for themselves.
