Maria HF 31 is a fishing boat whose original is in Finkenwerder, in northern Germany.
Maria HF31 operated in the North Sea area for more than 70 years, from 1880 to 1950.
During this period, the boat underwent several transformations, including motorization in the period between the wars, and several serious accidents - two fatalities, collisions and damages.
Currently, the boat is restored and accessible to the public at the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
The box of the model contains all the laser-cut wooden parts, the fittings in wood, metal and plastic (according to model), the fabrics for the sails, the plans and the instructions of construction.
