The Consolidated B-24 Liberator is an American heavy bomber, designed by Consolidated Aircraft of San Diego (California). The B-24 was used in World War II by Allied air and naval forces, and by several branches of the United States armed forces during the war, establishing a particular war record with its operations in Western Europe, the Pacific , in the Mediterranean, and in the China-Burma-India theater of operations.
