The 1:72 scale is ideal for model planes, military models and figures. This means that the model is 72 times smaller than the actual object. For example, a model 1:72 scale airplane measures 8 inches / 20cm in length if the real object measures 14.4 m (1440 cm). The figures in the 1:72 scale measure about 1 inch / 2.5cm high.
