Product description : North American FJ-4B Fury
Aircraft model North American FJ-4B Fury
The FJ-4B was a ground-attack variant of the FJ-4, and in fact more FJ-4s were produced than FJ-4s.
Its design concept is similar to that of the F-86H, although the two aircraft are not directly related except for their common origins.
The FJ-4B differed from the FJ-4 in that it had a strengthened structure with six external attachment points under the wings that could carry a total of 6,000 pounds of secondary fuel tanks, rockets or bombs.
It can carry up to four drop tanks of 2,150 or 2,200 gallons.
