German cruiser at the scale 1/350.
Dimensions of the model: Length 573.3 mm, Width 81.4 mm.
Contains a presentation booth with presentation plate, a metal chain, photo cut pieces, 2-part shell for easy assembly.
Model to assemble and paint more than 520 pieces.
SMS Seydlitz is a battle cruiser of the Imperial German Navy.
It is named in honor of the cavalry general Friedrich Wilhelm von Seydlitz, who distinguished himself under Frederick the Great, especially against the French, at the Battle of Rossbach (1757).
It is the fourth German battle cruiser built in Hamburg by Blohm & Voss shipyards.
Launched in March 1912, commissioned in May 1913, it cost 44,685,000 Gold Marks.
He was integrated into the 1st Lighting Group (I.Aufklärungsgruppe) of the High Seas Fleet (Hochseeflotte) commanded by Admiral Hipper, whose mark he bore from June 1914 to the end of November 1917, except for the few months when it was carried by the SMS Lützow, and after being put out of action in Jutland, by SMS Moltke, SMS Seydlitz undergoing long months of repairs.

A. Anonymous The kit is excellent value for money. The moulding is crisp, the additional PE parts are very fine and the one piece hull a boon. There are a couple of disappointments, but not enough to lose a star given the price of the kit: the main issue is that there is no PE or kit railings for the main deck, which would not be significant if PE railings had not been supplied for other decks. All in all, it is a very fine kit and a real bargain. *
