KH32022 - Plastic Model Aircraft Mirage 2000N

The Mirage 2000N is a version of the Mirage 2000 specifically designed for nuclear strikes. Initially equipped with the ASMP nuclear missile, it now carries the improved ASMPA missile within the French Strategic Air Forces. The Mirage 2000N plays a crucial role in the French nuclear unearth force. Its counterpart for conventional attacks is the Mirage 2000D, a two-seat version optimized for conventional air-to-ground assault missions in all weather conditions.

Developed in the late 1980s in response to delays in the Dassault Rafale program, the Mirage 2000D was initially designated as Mirage 2000N' (Mirage 2000N prime). The aircraft are stationed at Nancy-Ochey Air Base and are divided among several squadrons: Fighter Squadron 1/3 Navarre, Fighter Squadron 2/3 Champagne, Fighter Squadron 3/3 Ardennes, and Mirage 2000D Transformation Squadron 4/3 Argonne. All these squadrons are attached to the 3rd Fighter Wing. As of December 31, 2012, 78 Mirage 2000Ds were in service, reduced to 71 as of October 15, 2015.
