The Turbostar was a major commercial success for Iveco.
Thanks to its strength, reliability and performance characteristics it gained a significant position in the European truck market and was the most popular industrial vehicle in Italy in the late 1980s.
It was declined in numerous versions and numerous fittings to meet the demands of user companies in a timely and precise manner.
The Turbostar had its greatest commercial success with its two-axle "road tractor" version, a segment in which it became a landmark of 1980s road transport.
The wide range of engines also allowed the vehicle to be adapted to the work uses and distances to be covered.
Among the many versions produced was the famous 190.48 equipped with a 480-hp engine capable of releasing noteworthy performance.
Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
Type of product : Truck model kit
To build a plastic truck model, you need the following tools:
- a cutter or cutting pliers
- and model glue.
You can also paint the model with a brush (acrylic or enamel paint).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
