KC-135A USAF 1/144 The KC-135 is one of the longest-lived aircraft in primary service.
The KC-135 evolved from a jet passenger model in the early 1950s which was almost immediately accepted by the United States Air Force.
To this day, the KC-135 remains one of the principal transport and in-flight refueling aircraft of the United States Air Force.
First brought into service in 1957, the updated versions of the KC-135 are still in service after more than 54 years and many years to come.
The KC-135A was the primary air-to-air refueling aircraft of the Cold War era and an integral part of Elite Strategic Air Command.

The 1:144 scale is mainly used for large aircraft models (airliners, bombers, etc.).
A plane in the 1:144 scale is 144 times smaller than the actual aircraft.
For example, if the plane is 60 m long, then the model will measure 1 foot and 5 inches / 41.66 cm in length (6000/144 = 41.66).
